PLENARY I: STAY ON THE WALL: CALLED TO STAND
This plenary will challenge women to recognize their spiritual assignment, remain faithful when the work becomes difficult, discern what threatens their purpose, and stand together in prayer and service. Isaiah 62 reminds us that God places watchmen on the wall not only as discerning observers but to pray, speak, protect, protest, and persevere.

Workshop 1: POSITIONED ON PURPOSE: “God Put Me on This Wall”

God positions us in families, churches, marketplaces, ministries, communities, and relationships where our presence matters. Sometimes we spend so much time wishing we were somewhere else that we fail to recognize the assignment attached to where we are now. This workshop will help participants identify the places where God has positioned them to make a difference and recognize that their position carries both purpose and responsibility.

Workshop 2: WATCH WHAT’S COMING: “Discernment from the Wall” (clergy only)

Standing on the wall gave the watchman a different perspective. While others were going about their daily activities, the watchman was looking beyond what was immediately visible. Likewise, spiritual maturity requires discernment. Not everything deserves our attention. Not every opportunity is our assignment. Not every battle requires our participation. Not every open door was opened by God. A watchman learns to distinguish between a distraction, a danger, and a divine opportunity; so, should we.

Workshop 3: DON’T COME DOWN: “Standing When You’re Tired”

Isaiah describes watchmen who “shall never hold their peace, day nor night.” This speaks to persistence; but persistence does not mean pretending we never become tired. Many people do not leave the wall because they stopped loving God; they leave because they became tired, discouraged,
disappointed, distracted, unappreciated, hurt, overwhelmed or frustrated. Participants will identify the emotional, spiritual, and practical challenges that cause them to abandon assignments and develop strategies for remaining faithful.

Workshop 4: WATCHMEN DON’T WATCH ALONE: Standing Together to Stay on the Wall”

Isaiah says “watchmen”; there was never supposed to be only one person guarding the entire wall. This is particularly important in ministry. Sometimes faithful people become exhausted because they are trying to guard every gate, repair every breach, solve every problem, and carry every person. Healthy ministry requires shared responsibility. Participants will understand that God’s work necessitates community, accountability, unity, and shared responsibility. The question is not simply: “Are you on the wall? but also, “Who is standing beside you?”

PLENARY II: STAY ON THE WALL: LEADING FROM DIFFICULT PLACES
Leadership will often require us to take a stand at some point along the journey. How does one respond when that position results in grief, disappointment, opposition and uncertainty? What does it look like to remain faithful when the assignment is painful, the way forward is unclear, and walking away would be easier? This plenary will explore the story of Rizpah, a woman who refused to abandon her post, which gained the attention of the king and helped restore dignity and healing to the land.

Workshop 1: STAY ON THE WALL FOR JUSTICE

One must remain engaged when progress is slow and resistance is strong. This workshop will explore what it means to lead faithfully from difficult places while confronting inequity, challenging unjust systems, and standing with communities whose voices are often ignored. Participants will consider how courage, persistence, discernment, and spiritual grounding can sustain them in the work of justice even when change does not come quickly.

Workshop 2: STAY ON THE WALL IN MINISTRY (Clergy only)

Clergy invariably have to lead through conflict, transition, criticism, loss, and seasons when the weight of ministry feels especially heavy. This workshop, designed exclusively for clergy, will explore the spiritual and practical demands of remaining faithful to the ministry assignment when leadership becomes difficult. Participants will consider how to navigate resistance, care for people in crisis, protect the vision, and maintain spiritual and emotional health while continuing to lead with courage, wisdom, and integrity.

Workshop 3: WHEN THE ASSIGNMENT HURTS: Leading through the storms of life

Sometimes the very place God has called us to serve becomes the place of our greatest disappointment. This workshop will help women identify healthy and faithful ways to lead while navigating grief, unmet expectations, and personal loss. Participants will consider how to acknowledge pain without allowing it to paralyze purpose and how to remain emotionally and spiritually grounded while leading from wounded places.

WORKSHOP 4: UNTIL THE KING RESPONDS: The Power of Sustained and Strategic Leadership

Rizpah had no title, platform, or political authority, yet her persistence eventually captured the attention of the king and prompted action. This workshop will explore how women can exercise influence even when they do not occupy positions of formal power. Participants will examine persistence, advocacy, consistency, and courageous presence as leadership tools, particularly when systems are slow to respond or circumstances appear resistant to change.

PLENARY III: STAY ON THE WALL: SUSTAINING ONESELF IN THE STRUGGLE

But I prayed, “Now strengthen my hands.”

God’s desire is for us to be like Nehemiah who faced opposition, yet he prayed for the strength needed to continue the assignment God had given. Similarly, God wants us to be encouraged to strengthen our minds, spirits, bodies, and voices so we can withstand fatigue, resist distraction, endure opposition, and faithfully carry out the work to which we are called.

Workshop 1: STRENGTH FOR THE BATTLE: Standing Firm in Spiritual Warfare

Many challenges require an understanding of the unseen, spiritual battles that accompany the work. This workshop will help participants identify spiritual opposition, recognize the tactics that seek to distract, discourage, divide, and derail them, and strengthen the spiritual disciplines necessary to
remain steadfast. Participants will explore prayer, Scripture, fasting, discernment, and the armor of God as resources for sustaining themselves when the battle intensifies.

Workshop 2: STRENGTH FOR THE JOURNEY: Caring for the Body

Our bodies carry the assignment, and sustaining ourselves in the struggle requires intentional care of our physical well-being. This workshop will challenge participants to examine the relationship between ministry, stress, rest, nutrition, movement, sleep, and overall health. Participants will
identify practical ways to establish healthier rhythms so that they can serve with greater strength, energy, and longevity.

Workshop 3: STRENGTHEN YOUR VOICE: Proclaiming with Courage and Conviction

Staying on the wall requires the courage to speak. God has entrusted His people with voices that can teach, preach, evangelize, advocate, encourage, and confront injustice. Yet people face obstacles that can cripple and silence the very voice God intends to use. This workshop will help participants strengthen their ability to communicate with clarity, confidence, biblical grounding, and authenticity. Whether preaching from a pulpit, teaching a class, sharing the Gospel, advocating for justice, or speaking truth in everyday spaces, participants will be challenged to proclaim the word boldly and prophetically.

Workshop 4: STRENGHTEN YOUR ECONOMIC STANDING: Business and Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship often requires vision in the face of uncertainty, persistence through setbacks, and the courage to keep building when resources are limited or doors seem closed. This workshop will explore how women can start and lead businesses with purpose, resilience, and integrity while
navigating risk, rejection, competition, and change. Participants will consider practical and spiritual principles for taking the leap of faith to start a business, sustain the vision, steward opportunities, and continue to build even from difficult places.
